New Career, New Life Thanks to TCCC
Teresa Hayes has her eye on a bachelor’s degree. She earned an Office Administration degree from TCCC after being laid off from the Lee plant and she’s back again, taking college transfer classes while working full time for Cherokee County Schools.
“Without Tri-County, I probably would still be working in a factory. I have had a family the whole time I’ve been in school and I wouldn’t have been able to travel to get an education.”
Hayes is also an ambassador for Tri-County. She encourages the kids she knows to take classes at TCCC to save money and to explore education, especially if they don’t know what they want to do with their lives.
Hayes credits Tri-County instructors with helping her set goals and reach them. “My bachelor’s degree is the next step in my career and I am looking forward to it.” |
