Adamovich finds direction at TCCC
Much to her surprise, Sara Adamovich has found a home at Tri-County Community College (TCCC) and its Pre-Nursing curriculum.
“Tri-County Community College has given me a new life,” said Adamovich. “I have been a stay at home mom for over 14 years. I now find myself raising a family and enrolling in the pre-nursing program.”
This single mother of four works at night, attends college classes during the day and manages family responsibilities successfully, all in an effort to improve her future.
She said her interest in the healthcare field began after accepting a job as a certified nursing assistant at a local nursing home.
“My curiosity into nursing became stronger with my current job as a CNA,” said Adamovich. “I decided to go for my registered nursing license and I am happy I did.”
Adamovich said that without online classes and flexible class schedules, she could not continue to work and support her family. She also complimented the helpful staff at TCCC.
“Filing for financial aid was the part that scared me the most, but I learned it was seamless,” she said. “Tri-County Community College has helped me get on my feet and find direction. I am happier than I have ever been!”
