Crime Awareness and Campus Security
Tri-County Community College is in compliance with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 and will provide the safest educational environment possible for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Known and suspected violations of Federal and North Carolina laws and other emergencies should be reported to the College for action. Acts such as murder, sex offense, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, liquor law violation, drug abuse violation and weapons possession must be reported immediately. Students, faculty and staff must recognize that they should take individual steps to protect themselves from becoming a victim of a crime and work together as a campus community in the prevention of crime and the promotion of security.
