Automotive Systems Technology

According to Statista.com, there were more than 250 million vehicles registered in the United States in 2012. Since each and every one of those vehicles is going to have to be serviced and maintained during its operational life, Tri-County Community College is training skilled technicians to meet that enormous need with its Automotive Systems Technology program.

Under the direction of lead instructor Keith Marcus, students learn both theory and practical application through classroom and lab work that integrates academic and technical course work. From brakes to suspensions, engines to transmissions, electrical and computer systems to performance and beyond, students who complete the two-year course of study will be well-prepared for full-time employment in this very lucrative field.
