Tri-County Community College (TCCC) President Dr. Donna A. Tipton-Rogers recently hosted an information meeting which featured Chef Greg Spencer, TCCC culinary instructor.
Chef Spencer not only shared about the progress and implementation of the new Culinary Arts Program, but he also treated Dr. Tipton-Rogers and her staff to a meal he prepared for the occasion.
The TCCC Culinary Arts Program began with its first cohort of students in August, 2014, and Spencer said his enrollment has almost doubled for the spring semester. He also reported that construction of the training kitchen is slated to be operational just in time for the 2015 Spring Semester.
