Dr. Donna Tipton-Rogers welcomed faculty back to Tri-County Community College during the Faculty Professional Development session. During her introduction, Dr. Tipton-Rogers updated faculty on the many ongoing projects and programs on the TCCC Campus and in the community.

Faculty Professional Development allows TCCC instructors an opportunity to sharpen their skills with relevant and ongoing training. The landscape of Higher Education is changing daily with continuous technological innovations, new challenges in accreditation, and an ever-growing student body with diverse needs. It is important for faculty members to gain new tools and resources to effectively support student learning.

During these sessions faculty members discuss effective teaching strategies, best practices, and current breakthroughs in Higher Education. Faculty Professional Development is held before each Fall and Spring Semester.
