Students currently enrolled in Family Health Concepts from both Haywood and Tri-County Community College (TCCC) recently developed some public informational display boards as part of their course requirements. These boards cover a variety of topics and were made to teach members of the pubic the importance of child health and care. Students must complete these boards to meet objectives of the clinical component of the course.
“The boards will be donated back to the community,” said Nursing Instructor Deb Hogan. “After the students present their boards at both Haywood and Tri-County Community College, we will be giving them to both the Southwestern Development Center and the Health Department. We hope that they will be an informative and useful resource for parents.”
