TCCC has a new Counselor

The college years are exciting and challenging. At times the demands can be complicated and daunting. A college counselor can give feedback, encourage further questioning, validate self-awareness and responsibility, and support students until self-confidence is secure again. Asking for help during vulnerable times is a sign of strength and a college counselor can be a valuable asset to the student.

Tri-County Community College is pleased to have a new counselor join our staff – Kim Brabon.

A native of West Palm Beach, Florida, Kim received her bachelorā€™s degree in Early Childhood Development from Florida State University in Tallahassee. When not on campus she works for Appalachian Community Services working with children in family settings.

Kim and her husband Jerry live in Peachtree and they have three children and four grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading and gardening.

If you have a need for counseling services, Kim will be available on campus Tuesdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sessions are available by appointment only and can be made through the Harper Help Desk by calling (828) 837-6810.
