Tri-County Community College (TCCC) welcomed university and college representatives from across the region to take part in its first-ever College Transfer Day on Thursday, October 30. Nearly 60 TCCC students were able to sit down with the visiting admissions personnel, ask questions, and receive one-on-one advice about furthering their academic career.
The Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO) promote this event annually in an effort to allow college transfer students an opportunity to connect with proximate colleges and universities.
“I am so pleased that we are able to offer this opportunity to our students,” said Dr. Donna Tipton-Rogers, TCCC president. “College Transfer is our largest curriculum program here at Tri-County Community College, and the College Transfer Day allows our students to explore their options for higher education after they complete their associate degrees.”
