In a continuing effort to ensure student preparedness for the Spring Semester, Tri-County Community College (TCCC) plans to offer a short session of six online courses from December 7 to January 6.
The accelerated four-week online courses offer students the opportunity to gain credits before the Spring Semester begins, as well as reduce heavier course loads for the 2016 academic year.
Offerings include classes in Chemistry, Biology, English, Computer Sciences, and Medical Terminology, with a minimum enrollment number.
“We want to ensure students have the best ability to succeed,” said Dr. Steve Wood, vice president for instruction and institutional effectiveness. “By offering these accelerated winter session courses as an extension of the Fall Semester, students gain the convenience of completing a required course of study before the Spring Semester begins on January 7.”
Students interesting in enrolling in one of the accelerated winter session courses must do so in person at the Harper Help Desk on the Main Campus in Peachtree or at the Shope Building at the TCCC Graham County Campus in Robbinsville.
Registration for the holiday time courses is open now through December 6.
