Tri-County Community College hosts College Transfer Tour

As part of the Student Preparedness is the Key to Success campaign, Tri-County Community College (TCCC) hosted the second annual Fall College Transfer Tour on Monday, November 2 at the Main Campus in Peachtree.

At the College Transfer Tour students nearing graduation gained the opportunity to meet with 11 University Transfer Representatives from institutions across North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Representatives from UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina University, Mars Hill College, and more gave one-on-one time to more than 30 students interested in learning about their college transfer process and programs of study.

“I felt today was a huge success,” said Lee Beal, director of enrollment management. “It is extremely important to consider many different factors when choosing a college. This event provides a venue for our students to meet with expert Transfer Advisors from a variety of universities and colleges that offer Bachelor’s degree programs for TCCC graduates.”

Staff from TCCC at the event also provided information regarding the Reverse Transfer Process, which enables students to transfer credits back to TCCC in order to complete their A.A. or A.S. Degree.
