WNC Fire Thank you Campaign

Updated November 14, 2016: Due to an overwhelming outpouring of community support, Tri-County Community College is no longer taking donations for the firefighters in the surrounding communities. We’d like to thank everyone who has donated to our WNC Fire Donation Drive. Please continue checking this page in the future, should the need arise for further supplies.

Updated November 10, 2016: Fire personnel are now in need of quick means of sugar and protein such as water flavoring, nuts, peanut butter, mini candy bars and hard candies/sweets, in addition to baby wipes and Chapstick.

Tri-County Community College is currently holding a WNC Fire Relief Drive to benefit the many courageous firefighters currently battling forest fires in Western North Carolina.

With additional fire personnel being called to Western North Carolina for the next 2 – 6 weeks, College faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to donate supplies, as well as non-perishable food and drink items at the Harper Help Desk on the Main Campus in Peachtree.

Donations will be delivered each Monday to firefighters in the surrounding area.

For more information regarding the WNC Fire Relief Drive, please contact Sallie Baker at (828) 835-4202.
