The College’s Economic and Workforce Development efforts are centered at the Cherokee County Center for Applied Technology building in Marble. The Center houses workshop, classroom, and office space and is the site of a wide range of training and degree programs focused on workforce and economic development.

As an East Coast state, North Carolina enjoys proximity to major US markets and suppliers. In addition to our strong community college presence, research and development thrive at our many of our state's community colleges.The Economic & Workforce Development Division at Tri-County Community College assists industries by customizing educational programs and training courses for their employees. Our staff is available to assess, design, and implement appropriate courses to meet the needs of industry.
