Part-time Positions:

Curriculum Adjunct Instructor Positions

Adjunct Instructor positions needed to facilitate the learning process in the following subject areas:

  • Mathematics – Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics required

CDL Program Instructor (Part-Time)

Part-Time instructor needed to teach proper driving procedures, safety, and regulations for operating commercial vehicles.  Instruction includes truck maintenance, defensive driving, freight handling, security and fire protection.

  • High School or Equivalent, CDL – class A license, and a clean motor vehicle report for the past 5 years, required
  • 3 year’s experience
  • Road test and drug screening required

Flexible schedule – days, nights and weekends

Nurse Aide Instructor (Part-Time)

Part-Time instructor needed to facilitate Nurse Aide I and II, Geriatric Aide, Personal Home Care Aide, Medication Aide, and Home Health Aide classes.  Maintains clinical lab to Department of Facility Services and Board of Nursing Standards. 

Qualifications Required:

  • Current, unrestricted NC Registered Nurse License
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience teaching adults or supervision of Nurse Aides

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree

Real Estate Instructor (Part-Time)
Qualifications required:
• A current North Carolina real estate broker license that is not on provisional status;
• A current continuing education record;
• 60 semester hours of college-level education at an institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools or any other college accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Applicants must meet all conditions and approval set forth by NCREC, including the following:

Two (2) years of active real estate brokerage experience (one year in NC), within the past 7 years; or
Three years as an instructor at a secondary or post-secondary school; or

Be an approved Pre-licensing or Post licensing instructor in another state; or

Hold an equivalent law license with three years’ experience handling commercial or real estate transactions.
