A detailed description of each full-time position can be obtained by clicking on its title.  The information for part-time positions is listed directly below the position title unless otherwise specified.  Please read the description carefully to ensure you submit the required information by the closing date and that you meet the minimum requirements for the position.

Part-time Positions:

Educational Technology Specialist

Associate’s degree required.  Primary duties include: Assists faculty in building on-line instructional materials resulting in an effective and engaging on-line course. Serves as an in-class teaching assistant focused on the use of technology, including audio-visual assistance.

English Tutor (Part-time)

Preferred requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years tutoring experience in a post secondary institution or previous work experience in a community college setting.

Math Tutor (Part-time)

Preferred requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years tutoring experience in a post secondary institution or previous work experience in a community college setting.

General Tutor with ESL experience (Part-time)

Requirements include ESL experience.  Preferred requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years tutoring experience in a post secondary institution or previous work experience in a community college setting.

GED Instructor (Graham County Center) Part-time

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.  Minimum of one year teaching experience in the community college setting preferred.

Physics Instructor (Part-time/On-line)

Requirements include a Master’s degree with 18 hours in the discipline.  Minimum of one year teaching experience in community college setting preferred. This is an on-line Instructor Position. 

Art Instructor (Part-time)

Requirements include a Master’s degree with 18 hours in the discipline.  Minimum of one year teaching experience in community college setting preferred.
