Cosmetology at TCCC

Tri-County Community College’s Cosmetology students attended the first in a series of hands-on Paul Mitchell educational events on November 7 at the main campus in Peachtree.

Educator Cynthia Laws spent the day demonstrating the latest color techniques and haircuts premiered at major hair shows in cities this fall.

Through these hands-on sessions, TCCC cosmetology students fine-tune their craft in a relaxing and personalized setting as opposed to a crowded ballroom with hundreds of hairstylists.

Paul Mitchell has been an iconic brand of professional hair care products for more than 30 years. Their team of educators have a reputation for innovation and excellence, and a longstanding commitment to quality.

This is the first time Paul Mitchell has been incorporated into traditional curriculum at TCCC’s cosmetology department.

Misty Kelischek, spa therapies coordinator at TCCC, said she is always looking for ways to produce more successful graduates and make the learning experience richer for students.
