TCCC Apprenticeship: Earn While You Learn

Looking for a career path that lets you gain experience, earn a paycheck, and build valuable skills at the same time? An apprenticeship through Tri-County Community College may be the right choice for you.

Apprenticeships combine paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction, allowing participants to develop industry-specific skills while working toward nationally recognized credentials. Opportunities are available in a variety of high-demand fields, including:

FOR APPRENTICES

FLEXIBILITY FOR EXISTING EMPLOYEES
Registered Apprenticeship is not just for new hires. Employers may use apprenticeship to upskill incumbent workers and recognize previous experience through advanced standing. Up to 100% of Related Instruction (RI) may be credited for equivalent education, training, certifications, or coursework. Up to 50% of On-the-Job Training (OJT) hours may be credited for prior work experience. Prior credit may be documented through transcripts, certifications, training records, or employer verification.

UPON COMPLETION
Apprentices who successfully complete a registered apprenticeship earn a nationally recognized Journeyworker Certificate of Completion. Depending on the program, apprentices may also earn industry certifications, certificates, diplomas, college credentials, and degrees while
gaining valuable work experience.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
• Apprentices must meet the employment requirements established by the participating employer and registered apprenticeship program.

• Apprentices receive paid on-the-job training and related classroom instruction.

• Apprentices must meet all employer and program requirements to remain in good standing.
