New Student Orientation Information:

We would like to invite you to complete the required New Student Orientation (NSO) session during which you will be able to complete any needed placement test, get your student ID badge, get your parking pass, and learn more about other college services, and even register for classes.

We have three types of orientation sessions from which you can choose. We have a campus-wide session at our Main Campus in Murphy and a session at our Graham County Center in Robbinsville, as well as a customized, one-on-one student orientation option, which is tailored just for you. New Student Orientation sessions include First Year Academic Advising, registering for classes, a campus tour, and important information from different departments including Financial Aid and Distance Learning. An online orientation is also available by request. You only have to attend one New Student Orientation session; any of the sessions will prepare you for a successful academic career.
