Tri-County Community College (TCCC) will be holding an interactive showcase for its health sciences programs on Thursday, August 4, at 6:00 p.m. Community members that are interested in learning more about the College’s healthcare-focused programs will be able to meet with faculty and tour the classrooms and simulation labs.
The showcase will highlight the College’s Emergency Medical Science, Pharmacy Tech, Phlebotomy, Nurse Aide, Nursing, and Medical Assisting programs. Additionally, more information and an interest list will be provided for the upcoming Medical Sonography and Dental Assisting programs.
“We are excited to reintroduce our community to the health sciences programs we offer at TCCC,” said Kelly Hembree, Director of Student Services. “We have worked hard over the past few years to secure the latest educational equipment and have developed a simulated hospital space for students to learn.”
This event is the first in a series of interactive showcases the College plans on hosting. The event is open to the public, and will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. at the Enloe building on the TCCC Main Campus. For more information, please contact Hembree at (828) 835-4291 or khembree@tricountycc.edu.
